Tough Times Call for Credentials That Allow You to Perform at a Higher Level - IFMA Competency Courses - NIU Summer/Fall Sessions now available ...

Thanks to the hard work of the Chapter's Education Committee and many of our CFM's who are serving as instructors, Northern Illinois University is an IFMA licensed provider of the CFM® and FMP® credential competency courses.

You can now register for the Summer/Fall courses at: www.fm.niu.edu. NIU has bundled the FMP courses and will offer these programs at the Milliken Showroom, Merchandise Mart, Chicago. The remainder of the competency courses and the CFM Exam Review program will be offered at NIU's Hoffman Estates Campus.

"Green" programs that may be of interest to IFMA members...

The North/Northwest Branch of USGBC is sponsoring 2 "green" events within the next 2 months.

The June event is in Skokie - the topic is "The ROI of Going Green". Ted Krasnesky of Pepper Construction will do the presentation at Forest City.

The second is at NIU Hoffman on July 29th and the topic is "Solving the Green Cleaning Puzzle". Steve Ashkin of the The Ashkin Group will be the presenter.
