Membership Information

Membership information regarding joining IFMA and the Chicago Chapter may be obtained by contacting the chapter's Association Manager, Linda Failing, at the address below. You may contact Linda via mail, phone or e-mail .

An inquiry regarding membership will get you on our mailing list for 3 months when you can "sample" membership by attending meetings and receiving chapter mailings.

When you Choose to Become a member of IFMA, don't forget to Choose IFMA-Chicago We realize that you can either choose a basic international membership with IFMA directly or add a local chapter. We highly encourage that you invest in this addition so that you have local peers and local involvement. It will advance your credibility at your current employer as well as among your local peers. So, don't forget to select "Chicago" as your local chapter of choice when joining IFMA.

We grow together. With deep roots building a strong foundation and branching networks creating increased knowledge and opportunity, the Chicago Chapter of IFMA seeks to be the premier resource for facilities professionals.

The Membership Committee is asking every member - professional and associate – to Cultivate FM Connections. By introducing IFMA to your peers, clients, colleagues and vendors, you can grow the chapter and multiply the valuable benefits of IFMA membership for all. As part of our vision for environmental sustainability, IFMA is committed to a tree planting campaign as we cultivate new members. For every new member we gain this year, our chapter will donate funds to Arbor Day Foundationâs ãTrees for Americaä campaign. This tree planting program supports reforestation of Americaâs national forests damaged by wild fires. The Chicago Chapter of IFMA will fund the planting of 10 trees for every new member we gain this year. Last year, we planted 830 trees in honor of our 83 new members.

Additionally, a grand prize will be awarded at the Chapter’s Annual Meeting to the member who has brought in the most new members in 2008. To be eligible to win, be sure to have your prospect include your name as a Referring Member on their IFMA Membership Application.
