April 15 :: "Managing the Built Environment: the Sydney Opera House Experience"

The Australian FM Action Agenda is a unique government and industry collaboration with a strategic plan for "Managing the Built Environment". In 2006, they initiated the award winning FM Exemplar Project: Sydney Opera House.
The FM Exemplar Project covered the themes of digital modeling, services procurement, performance benchmarking and it developed the case for an integrated FM solution. This award winning research culminated in 2007 with the publication of "FM as a business enabler", "adopting BIM for facilities management" and the augmentation the Total Asset Management (TAM) planning at the Sydney Opera House.
