NA Facilities Operations Leader
The NA Facilities Operations Leader will lead the development and definition of all products and services required for facilities operations. This role is responsible for rationalizing the service/product offerings and providing strategic direction for facilities to the Site Leaders and Office Managers. The NA Facilities Operations Leader is responsible for conducting periodic reviews of the daily operations to ensure compliance with overall strategy.
The person in this position will set Firm standards, be responsible for performance and metrics and operations cost. He/She will also provide situational input and occasional oversight into global operations and facility issues.
This role will have oversight and relationship management of 3rd party contracts related to facilities operations, and has significant contact with middle- and senior-level managers.
This role reports directly to the Global Real Estate Leader.
Specific Accountabilities
- Develop and define products and services
- Define NA Strategy and supporting action plans and deploy to sites.
- Lead and participate in sourcing strategies associated with delivering the service.
- Define site operations plans for daily operations and emergency situations.
- Manage cost of delivering services
- Oversight and management of the budget
- Define and manage the integrated project plan, which may include requirement and scope definition, statement of work development and implementation; transition to sustaining office operations.
- Ensure consistent process and tools; and creating/maintaining the training infrastructure.
- Indirectly lead a virtual team regarding knowledge of Facility functions.
- Develop, monitor and maintain all of the methods, tools and procedures for the facilities operations function within Real Estate.
- Develop and maintain all process documentation for the facilities function. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure documentation accuracy and process compliance.
- Coach and mentor other associates. Works with associates from management to front-line operations.
Education, Certifications, and Work Experience Required:
BS preferred or related experience
10+ years of relevant industry experience in the facilities function is required
Proven track record for business results
